This is how the ground floor looked at the end of the last week of work. After the volunteers returned home, the Indian craftsmen finished fitting the diagonal boards to the walls and the ceiling boards. A temporary roof was also erected over the entire building site to protect it from the monsoon, which begins in May. A water channel was laid around the building in the Valais style to drain rainwater during the construction period. Intense but very fulfilling weeks of building are coming to an end.
