Foundation

The final touches to the foundation were made and the spaces between the foundation ribs were filled with rich orange clay soil.

Before the wooden construction begins, symbols of good luck and protection are drawn in the fields with white sand under the direction of Nedo Rinpoche and monks from Rumtek.

Bumpas – protective vases – are positioned in the opening in the large platform.
