Piece of wood preparation

The planer was delivered at the beginning of January. It was installed on a natural stone foundation. Planing of the beams could begin in mid-January: a major step for the developing carpentry business.

Using the new planer, the ground floor prefabricated walls, constructed last year, were first planed to a uniform width of 9 cm. To develop the timber construction details of the columns, saddle timbers, and beams, a mock-up—a full-size test model of a portion of the structure—was built. In March, the 6 m long central beams of the temple were fabricated using the finest wooden beams.
